Error When Creating a Project on Wisecut (Project failed)

1. The video has no speech or is in an unsupported language

Wisecut uses AI to detect speech in your video in order to generate automatic cuts and subtitles. If the video:

• Contains no speech (e.g., just music, sound effects, or visuals), or
• Is spoken in a language that is not supported by the platform, the project may fail to be created.

✅ Solution

Make sure your video:

• Has clear spoken audio (human voice, not just music or background noise)
• Is in one of the supported languages listed below:

English
Portuguese
Spanish
Italian
French
German
Dutch
Korean
Japanese

 

2. The video may exceed your plan limits

If you’re uploading a file from your computer, the project might also fail if the video exceeds the limits set by your Wisecut plan.

✅ Solution

Before creating your project, check that:

• The file size (in GB) is within your plan's limit
• The video length (in minutes) is also within the allowed duration

• Use videos with clear and direct speech, without excessive noise or only background music.
• Make sure the video is in a supported language.
• If uploading manually, check the file size and duration.
• If you're using an external link (like YouTube), make sure the video is public and accessible.
