How to Choose Which Speaker Wisecut Focuses On in Vertical VideosWisecut automatically uses face tracking to keep the active speaker in frame when converting a video to a vertical format.
In most cases, Wisecut correctly identifies the person who is speaking. However, you may occasionally want to focus on a different person, or the face tracking may select the wrong speaker.
You can manually choose which face Wisecut should keep in frame using Speaker Focus Settings.

How to adjust the speaker focus
1. Open My Videos and locate the exported clip you want to adjust.
2. Click the pencil icon below the video.3. Select Advanced edit.
4. In the Advanced Editor, click Edit scenes.
5. Select Speaker focus settings from the menu.

6. Wisecut will display the faces detected in the video. Click the face you want Wisecut to keep in the vertical frame.
Understanding the focus indicators
Select the appropriate face whenever Wisecut focuses on the wrong person or when you intentionally want the video to follow someone other than the active speaker.
After making your selection, export the video again to apply and preview the updated framing.
- A green box means Wisecut will focus on that face and try to keep it in frame.
- A red box means that face will not be the main focus.
