You can easily upload a video to Wisecut by using a link from platforms like YouTube, Google Drive, Dropbox, and other video services. Follow the steps below to complete the process:

  1. Paste the video link into the highlighted field on Wisecut
  2. Click Create Project to start processing your video

Once your project is created, Wisecut will automatically analyze your video and organize the results into different sections:

Clips tab

In the Clips tab, your video is broken down into multiple short clips, automatically generated by AI. These clips are grouped into categories to help you quickly find the best moments:

  • Best overall: top-performing clips selected by the AI
  • Best under 3 minutes: ideal for short-form platforms like TikTok, Reels, and Shorts
  • YouTube chapters: clips based on the structure of your video, similar to chapters
  • Additional sections like All clips and duration-based groupings

Each clip can be previewed, edited, and exported individually, making it easy to create engaging short-form content.

Full Video tab

In the Full Video tab, you can generate a complete, polished version of your original video. This version keeps the full length but enhances it using AI editing.

You can customize several settings, such as:

  • Subtitles and language
  • Video format (landscape, vertical, square)
  • Smart cuts (removal of silences, filler words, and pauses)
  • Punch in/out (automatic zooms)
  • Speaker focus (choose which person appears on screen)
  • Background music

This allows you to transform your raw footage into a clean, professional video ready for publishing.

That’s it! You’ve successfully uploaded and processed your video using a link, and now you can choose between creating short clips or a fully edited version of your video.
