How to Merge Clips in Wisecut

Merging clips in Wisecut is simple. Follow this step-by-step guide to combine multiple clips into one video.

Step 1: Open Your Project

Create or open a project. Wisecut will automatically generate clips from your original video.


Step 2: Enable "Merge Multiple Clips"

At the top of the clips panel, turn on the toggle labeled “Merge Multiple Clips.” This activates checkboxes on all the available clips.


Step 3: Select Clips to Merge

Click the checkboxes next to the clips you want to combine. Wisecut will show a visual timeline to help you understand the sequence of each clip in the original video.


Step 4: Preview the Merged Video

Click Preview Merge to see how the combined clips look together. You’ll also see the total duration of the new video.


Step 5: Set Export Options

Click Next and choose your preferred export settings:


  • Video orientation: Horizontal, Vertical, or Square

  • Subtitles: on/off

  • Features: Auto-punching, smart background music and others.


Step 6: Export Your Merged Clip

Click Export. Wisecut will process the new video and move it to the My Videos tab.


Step 7: Download or Edit

Once processing is complete:

  • Download the merged video

  • Edit subtitles or settings if needed

  • Download the video description if available
